You just searched Google for a ‘radio advert copywriter’. Using all my genius and a bit of shameless SEO, I’m going to suggest you need a freelance copywriter to write radio adverts for your radio station.
Smart, eh?
So what kind of radio advert copywriter do you need?
Maybe the kind whose radio ad caused a three-mile tailback in a village in Ireland? It’s true. Ask Kiltrea Pottery. They wanted an ad to announce their closing-down sale. My radio ad was so popular that they had to call out the Garda traffic cops.
That ad isn’t included here (wish I could find it), but another radio advert for Kiltrea Pottery that had a similarly volcanic effect is.
Humorous radio adverts
Truth is, radio-ad copywriting is right up my street. Because humour in copy is kinda my thing. (I got headhunted by Innocent Drinks. That’s pretty damn quirky.) And all the best radio ads use fun and games.
Check out some samples of radio adverts here. The other radio adverts appeared on Dublin’s Newstalk radio station.
I have no idea why Ireland comes to me for radio adverts.
